Message from the Commodore

Dear Members and Friends of the Key Allegro Yacht Club,

It’s an honor to continue the legacy of the Key Allegro Yacht Club, a place that has meant so much to so many. As the new steward of the Yacht Club, I’m writing to you as a neighbor and a longtime member who has shared many of the same memories that make this place so special.

As the new steward of the Yacht Club, I’m excited to build on many traditions started by Carl and Pat Krueger to carry their legacy forward. This place was born from their love of travel, food, and friendship — and it’s my privilege to help keep that spirit alive.

As a chef, I believe food has the power to bring people together. My vision for the club is simple: a place that feels easy and welcoming, where you can drop in after a day on the water, meet friends for cocktails, or sit down for a special dinner that still feels like home. The menu will celebrate our coastal roots, with ingredients that highlight the best of each season.

The Yacht Club at Key Allegro has always been a place where comfort meets quality, and where members feel proud to belong – I’m honored to keep that tradition alive.

I’m grateful to be part of this next chapter with you. Here’s to preserving the history, the stories, and the spirit that make the Yacht Club at Key Allegro unlike anywhere else. In the coming weeks, you will start to see small changes that reflect our commitment to hospitality and tradition with a brighter dining area and re-imagined menus. We are excited to share these updates with you through the website and membership newsletter.
